In memory of Aiste's grandfather the the National Balys Dvarionas Music Competitions for young pianists was established in 1974. Since 1986 the competition expanded to all string instruments too. Later in 1989 the competition has gained the international status and became EMCY accredited in 2002.
Since its begining, hundreds of exceptionally talented children from around the world have participated.
Since 2010 Aiste has been a regular member of the judging panel of National Dvarionas Music Competition for Young Pianists and Violinists which takes place in Vilnius, Lithuania and is visiting her homeland regularly hence supporting the young musicians of the future.
As of 2020 Aiste Dvarionaite has also joined the Jury Panel of International Balys Dvarionas Competition for Young Pianists and Violinists.
It is a great privilege to announce that Aiste Dvarionaite was invited to be a jury member of the International Jascha Heifetz Competition For Violinists which took place in Vilnius on 14-22 February 2025.

Aiste Dvarionaite is also thrilled to publicise the 31st Leoš Janáček International Competition which will take place in Brno from 15 to 21 September 2025. Many talented musicians from arond the globe will compete for prestigious prizes.

In 2022 the Aiste was invited to join the 1st International Violin Competition at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava alongside other known pannelists such as František Novotný (Check Republic), Bartosz Bryla (Poland), Shizuka Ishikawa (Japan), Eszter Perényi (Hungary), Peter Michalica (Slovakia), and Dalibor Karvay (Slovakia).
